- Hi friends! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE TODAY’S VIDEO!! This is episode 1 of my new wedding planning vlog series! I am going to be bringing you guys along with me and documenting the entire process of planning Chris and I’s wedding ranging from all the DIY projects, party planning, venue searching and so much more. I’ll be sharing wedding planning vlogs every few weeks on Fridays at 6pm EST. In today’s video, I’m trying on wedding dresses for the very first time! And oh my gosh, what a surreal experience! I’d love to hear which one was your favorite! My personal favorite is the first one. :) I know this is a bit different from my usual studio vlog but so many of you have asked if I could document the wedding planning process and I thought that was such a fun idea, so I hope you enjoy it!

Watching this made me remember just how exciting it was planning my wedding. That was so special that you got to try on your moms dress. I have to say I did kinda of like it on you and a good dress maker could update it to me more modern but I really think every bride really should have her very own gown ,something that is all you and your style. All three dresses were lovely but I don't think you found "the one" I know it sounds hokey but when you find it you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt . I totally agree with you on the sparkle factor, you are such a bright ,bubbly person you need lots of bling

you look sooo beautiful ❤ in wedding dresses if i could say the first one looked best on you but when you tried your mom’s wedding dress you looked magical i think the color of that dress and the design of first one with shiny silver or crystal beaded work on the dress making it sparkly will make you look truely enchanting and the prettiest ❤

Beautiful! I suggest every bride try on a ball gown (big full skirt). Maybe alter Mom's gown for a reception dress.

Hey Emily, wow thank you for bringing us on your Wedding Vlog. I absolutely loved the first one you tried on and I actually had a tear in my eye. I got married in the same year as your Mum but I made my own dress with Mum's help. My dress was like the mermaid style only with long sleeves with lace and pear cut outs. Not sure if my girls would wear it one day or at least try it on, that was a very special moment between you and your Mum.😘Enjoy these moments.

Emily, I think number one looked really beautiful on you, and I also think your mom‘s dress looks beautiful on you as well the puffy sleeves, the bow in the back the dress is beautiful, and for some reason to me it matches your personality, and another thing that I love was you and your mom you can tell that the bond is strong there. Omg I love you and your mom, her dress fit you like a glove!! I GASPED when you walked out in the off the shoulder one. That neckline was so stunning and you can pull it off no problem! But I would feel the same way, just worried about adjusting it the whole time.

The first one is beautiful! Wedding dresses are fun! Think comfort too, mine was so heavy and the lace was scratchy with the long sleeves.

YES to number 1! I loved it too and I thought you and your mom definitely had a moment over that dress which is special!! I also loved the form fitting bodice of your mom's dress with the lace - I actually thought it was very flattering!! (But of course you wouldn't want the poof or the stylistics of the 90's~ lol - but I did love the form fitting bodice on it!)

Once we get our venue decided and a definite date set I’m going to go to a bridal boutique and try on some other styles ☺️
I got engaged in 2016 and married in 2019. Being engaged is a lovely feeling and planning the wedding day was fun! Of course there were some stressors, but my biggest piece of advice would be "don't sweat the small stuff". Your day will be magical no matter what ^_^

The first one is stunning! The second one the straps and waist need lifted by about an inch, the third one is gorgeous and could have safety straps added to it. OMG. lose the poofy bits on your mum's dress you know it could be the one and lose the bow at the back. But you can Totally have pink on the day- buy a pink dress too, why the hell not, you're only marrying once, wear the wedding dress for the ceremony and and the first dance, then CHANGE into the pink wedding dress. I sew, so I can see your mum's dress -as its the basic right shape you want- altered for your simplicity preferences. And I am Mad your Mum didn't put her wedding dress on for us to see :) :)

As someone who had the strapless you'd be surprised how well they hold up there were only a few times I had to lift it and that was mainly like bending over or going to the bathroom

Okay so hear me out, aside from you looking so beautiful in all the dresses! What if you did a wedding collection of bookmarks and stickers and whatever else and include a drawing of your moms wedding dress in it some how? I don't know its just a thought! That way your moms wedding dress( which just so happens to be pink!?) can be a part of your business for many years to come or forever!

2ndly, the second dress looks beautiful and it fits your body better than the other 2 dress from azazie, every wedding dress need adjustments anyway. the first dress, i know you like but for me the material is just too thin so it didn't fall well on your body, but its a nice dress but not you. just saying
